SuSciCo supported Shan Poornam Metals Group in strengthening its ESG reporting, organisational GHG accounting and product-level carbon footprint work across multiple entities.
The engagement included:
- Development of the Group’s inaugural ESG report
- Preparation of two years of Group-level GHG inventories covering seven entities
- Development of seven Product Carbon Footprint reports for secondary metal products
- Technical preparation and documentation support during the external verification process for the Product Carbon Footprint reports

ESG Reporting
Developed the Group’s inaugural consolidated ESG report with reference to Bursa Malaysia sustainability reporting requirements.
The work included ESG data consolidation, support for the initial materiality assessment, and structuring the Group’s key sustainability risks, goals and disclosures.
Group GHG Accounting
Prepared two years of Group-level GHG inventories covering seven entities.
The inventories quantified Scope 1, Scope 2 and selected Scope 3 emissions using the operational data provided by the Group and the agreed organisational and reporting boundaries.
Product Carbon Footprints
Developed seven Product Carbon Footprint reports for secondary metal products.
SuSciCo led the technical calculations, methodology application and supporting documentation for the reports. We also supported the company in preparing evidence trails and responding to technical questions during the external verification process.
